DSWD SLP released ₱300,000 worth of funds for the 2nd cycle project implementation of the Movement for Agrarian and Rural Advancement (MARA) Association under the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) Program. The association is set to manage enterprises consisting of rice retailing, agricultural supply, and fish vending aimed to provide the basic needs of the barangay and nearby communities.
The ceremonial release was held last March 8, 2023, at Sitio Buong, Brgy. Bololacao, New Lucena and attended by Vice Mayor Isabelo Acollador, Sanggunian Bayan Members, MARA officers, members and barangay officials of Bololacao, and SLP Project Development Officer Jessah Beth Gonzales.
PAMANA or the PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn is the government’s peace and development framework that aims to respond to and strengthen peace-building, reconstruction, and development in conflict-affected areas (CAAs) as well as sustain all ongoing governance and development initiatives on the ground.
