Romeo’s household was included in the program since 2011. Their source of income was solely derived from farming which is insufficient to support the tertiary education of their seven children. One of his children availed the ESGP-PA scholarship being implemented by

the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is now a licensed Professional Teacher after graduating from Capiz State University.

Two of Romeo’

s children are professionals and now helping and providing for the family’s basic needs while the rest of the children are in high school and senior high school. Moreover, Romeo is now an elected Brgy. Kagawad of their village thus, the household has already reached the level of well-being as self-sufficient.
