The Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) is a residential facility for children in conflict with the law ages 15 years old and below 18.  The center aims to provide the   residents the ambiance of a home for their   reformation.
Vision

To enable the youth  offenders restore their social  functioning and live a normal life through reintegration/reunification to their family/relatives and become a productive member of the  community and society.
Mission

To provide social protection to disadvantaged youth ages over 9 years old and below 18 years who needs appropriate care, guidance, supervision, rehabilitation and development through alternative form  of  parental care
with coordination with the Local Government Units Social Workers and other stakeholders.
Goals

To provide a twenty – four (24) hour individual and group care, treatment, rehabilitation services under the guidance of trained staff where residents are cared for on a structured therapeutic environment.

Enable youth offenders who cannot undergo rehabilitation in the community to benefit the residential setting and provide them with substitute parental care and   protection.

Provision of protective, rehabilitative and development of programs and services for them to acquire social and developmental skills and to improve
self-image.

Facilitate speedy disposition of minor’s case in court and prepare them to be reunited /integrated with the family and community.  Monitoring and supervision of after care service.
Services and Interventions:

I. SOCIAL SERVICE
– Individual /Group Counseling
– Case Work/Case Management
– Individual/Group/Family Therapy and value formation sessions

2. HOMELIFE SERVICE

Provision of basic needs such as food  clothing,  shelter and  development of values and appropriate social and life skills.

3. EDUCATIONAL SERVICE

Formal and non-formal and special education in preparation for independent living after the youth offender will be discharged from the center.

4.   PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICE

Provision of psychological/psychiatric assessment and evaluation, psychotherapy sessions and counseling.

5.  HEALTH SERVICE

Provision of medical and dental examination.

6. LIVELIHOOD SERVICE

These are productive activities in preparation for  future economic independence and selection of occupation/vocation of the youth offender, e.g. Practical Skills training, income generating projects (hog raising, sewing, poultry raising, gardening etc.), and on the job training and placement.  According to the youth’s interest,, capability and skills, they are being helped to plan for income generating projects which will help them earn while inside the center and teaching them the value of  saving money, teamwork, honesty, hard work and sense of  responsibility.

7. RECREATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Activities that seek to enhance the moral and spiritual development of the residents such sport and athletics, arts and crafts, and celebrating of special events like celebration of Christmas, Birthdays and Family  Day.  These activities and programs are a source of pleasure as well as means where the youth can release tensions, stress aggression and hostility.

8. COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

These are involvement of residents in selected activities that develop their sense of social responsibility and community belongingness.

9. SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT

Religious activities and Bible studies wherein the youth  are given the opportunity to experience the  divine intervention and comfort of GOD as an ultimate source of help to their problems.
