ILOILO City — The National Advisory Committee (NAC) is proposing to come up with a policy on the replacement of Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries who are already self-sufficient or can provide on their own without the assistance of the program.

No less than the Regional Director Evelyn Macapobre confirmed the information adding that the NAC has already agreed that they will be coming up with a policy on the replacement.

“Sa dami at sa tagal na nag avail ng serbisyo meron na talagang umangat kaya nga siya pantawid. So meron talaga na matanggal at syempre meron naman madadagdag. So kung paano at sino yon yong pinagkasunduan na nila na its a high time na to develop a policy on the replacement”, Macapobre explained.

She added that the NAC will still draft the policy, send to the fields for comments and finalize it for implementation.

“Hopefully this will be implemented this year,” the diretor said.

NAC is an inter-agency and highest policy- making body that provides policy directions and guidance on matters pertinent to Pantawid Pamilya implementation.//dswd.MGC
