The Department of Social Welfare and Development, through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, has released a total of P8,130,729,900.00 to the indigent beneficiaries in the six provinces of Western Visayas since the start of the implementation of the program in 2008 to the present. Negros Occidental, which has the most number of beneficiaries, got the biggest amount with P2,743,774,500.00 followed by Iloilo with P2,434,126,400.00 and Capiz with P975,877,000.00. Based on the monitoring, there is also high compliance rate among beneficiaries on Education, Health and Family Development Sessions.
