864 4Ps grantees graduate today
MURCIA Negros Occidental- 864 4Ps household grantees graduated from the program in a simple Graduation Ceremony held at the Auditorium of Murcia, Negros Occidental this morning.
Liza T. Jover, 52, widow, and a Parent Leader from Brgy. Zone II, of this town, is one of the graduating grantees who gave her testimony during the event.
“As a solo parent, I had encountered a series of challenges and difficulties having seven children enrolled in school but with the help of the 4Ps, I was able to overcome it. Three of my children graduated from college and are now working as a teacher, marketing management accounting, and a Mechatronics Engineer in Manila. Thank you 4Ps, I am so grateful for all the support, the learnings, and the experiences shared, and will always stay in my heart,” she said.
The giving of certificates was headed by SWO III Linda Delos Reyes, Murcia MSWDO Charisma V. Olimpo, RSW; and 4Ps staff.
“The efforts of the 4Ps staff of Murcia Municipal Operations Office with the coordination, support, and collaboration of our Municipal Mayor has made this event possible. We had also prepared our “Pabaon” as our token of appreciation to all the 4Ps graduates,” said Olimpo.
The 864 graduated beneficiaries were turned over to the Local Government Unit for Aftercare Program as part of the Social Case management strategy of the DSWD-4Ps.
