LOOK: Staff of the DSWD FO VI through Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) participate in the three-day Incident Command System Training conducted by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) 6 in La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The training aims to capacitate participants for a systematic and effective management of disaster response operations. Timely, the activity supports the preparation of La Castellana LGU on the ongoing unrest of Mt. Kanlaon in Negros Island.
La Castellana LGU already implemented pre-emptive evacuation of residents within the four to six-kilometer radius of the volcano.
