ABSNET is perceived as an effective strategy with the end goal of institutionalizing collaboration, cooperation, capacity building and client-service with the SWDAs that are registered, licensed and accredited by the DSWD. Through the years, the ABSNET has been the extension arm of the department in advocating the standard guidelines in the delivery of social welfare.
Part of the agenda is the presentation of the DSWD Programs and Services which would help both the SWDAs and the department indentify some points of engagementnt along social welfare programs and services which was given by Atty. May Rago – Castillo, OI II/SMS Head. This was followed with a presentation of the Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act which was given by Ms. Janice Brasileño, OIC RACC Officer.
After the said meeting, a quick facility tour commence which provides a venue for the other SWDAs to get to know the programs and services of the Home for Girls.
