The activity gathered first-hand information from program beneficiaries on their operations and as well as the existing challenges with regards to managing their respective enterprises. The insights from the monitoring will be of the essence in crafting this year’s plans on how to further assist existing livelihood projects.
Director Razo with Pantawid Division Chief Belen Gebusion, Promotive Services Division Chief Luna Moscoso, SLP Regional Program Coordinator Mary Ann Masculino, Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Juliet Besa, and Negros Occidental SLP Provincial Office Provincial Coordinator Emily Bacaoco visited the following associations:
• KAPATIRAN Farmworkers Association (KAFAWA) – Native Lechon Manok Station located in Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City
• KAPATIRAN E. B. Magalona Workers Association (KEMWA) – Hollow Blocks Production in the Municipality of E. B. Magalona
• ERPAT Driver’s Association – Motorcycle Parts and Services in the Municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto
The team also paid a courtesy visit with E. B. Magalona Municipal Mayor Marvin M. Malacon, Municipal Vice Mayor of Don Salvador Benedicto Nehemiah Joe J. dela Cruz, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer of Negros Occidental Merle L.
