October 21, 2021 – Marks a meaningful day for 79 qualified beneficiaries of the Department of Trade and Industry’s – Pangkabuhayan para sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa in the Province of Capiz.

The beneficiaries consist of 34 residents from President Roxas, 11 from Pontevedra, 8 from Panay, 8 from Roxas City, 17 from Sigma, and 1 from the Municipality of Mambusao. They were given livelihood assistance amounting to Php 15,000.00 each for their enterprise funded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Sustainable Livelihood Program (DSWD – SLP).

The program was made possible through the collaboration of the DTI and DSWD Field Offices in Region VI. DTI endorsed their registered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for possible livelihood intervention and rehabilitation of businesses affected by the current COVID-19 Pandemic.

The payout took place in their respective LGUs with the assistance of the Philippine National Police and Armed Forces of the Philippines. It was also graced with the presence of respective LGU officials and SLP Regional Program Management Office staff. ### (GMADelaCruz/CSPO)
