A total of 1,806 family food packs were distributed to families affected by floods in 13 barangays of Leganes, Iloilo.

DSWD Regional Director Evelyn B. Macapobre and Mayor Vicente P. Jaen II led the distribution to a total of 1,806 families.

“We are very thankful for the immediate response of the DSWD Field Office 6 to our request for relief augmentation, a proof of the agency’s promise of maagap na serbisyo,” says Mayor Jaen.

RD Macapobre on the other hand acknowledged the LGU’s fast submission of reports which is essential in the immediate provision of assistance to the affected families.

Macapobre also recognized the help of the members of Philippine Army and the Guardians for helping in the transport of the family food packs
