BACOLOD CITY – The presence of the Philippine Navy reservists is visible around the Sum-ag Multi-Purpose Gym in Brgy. Sum-ag here while ongoing the Convergence Information Caravan today.
Participants are being controlled by the reservists to make sure that physical distancing is strictly observed in the area.
Around 14 reservists led by PO3rd Wilfred BJ A. Din, are on standby in and out of the complex while different topics concerning the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) are being discussed by our partner agencies.
Among the speakers are Johnny Villaruel of DepEd, Ma. Christine Eder of DOH, and Police Corporal Alexis Jordan Atienza of the PNP.
Each speaker discussed the importance of their agency in the success of the program especially the onset of this pandemic. Health and education are among the conditions of the 4Ps for the beneficiaries to be compliant and continue receiving their cash grants.//
