Harren Christopher Fegarido of Philhealth-6 orients 4Ps beneficiaries of the benefits they could avail during the convergence caravan at Mararison Island in Culasi, Antique.

CULASI, Antique – The Department conducts an “Indigenous Peoples Convergence Caravan” at Mararison Island in Culasi, Antique today.

The caravan was conceptualized through the collaborative efforts of staff from the Social Marketing Section, Pantawid RPMO, Antique POO, and Culasi MOO to help strengthen campaigns on Bata Balik Eskwela, 4Ps Law, and lessen dropouts among High School students especially boys.

The whole-day event includes focus group discussion among 48 4Ps parents with their children on possible solutions among students not attending school (NAS). This was also followed by games, gift-giving of school supplies, books, and distribution of t-shirts among 35 members of the children’s choir.

This activity was made possible through the help of Philhealth and Tarambid, as partner Non-Government Organization./
