Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries from Brgy. Libas, Roxas City joined the coastal clean-up drive in the shoreline of the said barangay over the weekend.
ROXAS City – Almost 150 Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries from Brgy. Libas, Roxas City joined the coastal clean-up drive initiated by the Bureau of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources (BFAR) over the weekend.
City Link Ruiz Urquico said beneficiaries and other non- beneficiaries are regularly cleaning up the coastal area with the barangay officials however, this is their first time to join in the simultaneous clean-up with the led-agency.
Urquico also said the spirit of bayanihan rekindled during the said activity because the beneficiaries believed that together they can do something great that could help save the environment against human-made disaster.
