THE DSWD6 released today food packs for survivors of typhoon Marce in Iloilo City.
Records show that 100 food packs were provided by the agency.
This brings to a total of 1,712 the augmentation in form of food packs released by the agency to LGUs.
If broken down, 1,162 was sent for Capiz; 500 for Passi City, Iloilo; and the remaining for Iloilo City.
Regional Director Rebecca P. Geamala assured that the agency has enough stockpile to respond should the need arises.
“We have sufficient stockpile for any eventuality,” she said.
The DSWD has a 36,000 family food packs on its stockpile.
