A TOTAL of 198,360 children will benefit from the Supplementary Feeding program.
These children will get full meals for 120 days to be implemented by DSWD in partnership with Local Government Units.
“Through the program, we will be able to help curb hunger,” said Sally Gayoma, DSWD nutritionist.
If broken down, 76,842 children beneficiaries are in Negros Occidental; 62,645 in Iloilo; 21,724 in Antique; 18,486 in Capiz; 14,015 in Aklan; and 4,648 in Guimaras.
Beneficiaries are three to five years old children enrolled in day care centers.
