Thousands of evacuees returned to their homes after the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) declared Typhoon Ruby has weakened and public storm warning signal 1 had been lifted in Western Visayas.

Of the 65, 541 evacuees in Western Visayas, only less than one percent remained in the one evacuation center in the island-municipality of Caluya, Antique.

Based on the reports of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, 41 families or 197 persons still remained in Caluya National High School. These evacuees came from the three sitios of Panagaton, Barangay Harigue.
