Korean government donates P5.6M worth of food, supplies for typhoon victims. The Korean government turned over $130,000 or P5.59 million worth of food packs and family tents for victims of typhoon Yolanda in Iloilo province. Specifically, the donation included 120 family tents, 160 blankets, 9,093 chicken fried rice and 3,860 chicken fried rice with auto warming system. Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council chair Rosario Cabrera and DSWD Field Office VI Regional Director Ma. Evelyn B. Macapobre expressed their gratitude to Senior Deputy Representative Kim Youngran who personally went to Iloilo to facilitate the delivery of goods. (DSWD6/May Castillo)
