GUIMARAS (Pagtataya) – The DSWD6-4Ps through the Municipal Operations Office (MOO) of San Lorenzo here, conducted a whole-day Youth Development Session (YDS) among 30 participants from 12 barangays of this municipality yesterday.

Resource Person PCMS Ma. Junary M. Lazaro of the San Lorenzo PNP shared valuable insights on safeguarding children in the digital space and the important role that young people play in promoting a safe online environment. As part of the program’s continuing commitment to child protection, the session focused on Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) (Session 2).

The discussion aims to strengthen participants’ awareness of online safety, help them recognize the signs of online abuse and exploitation, and encourage the timely reporting of such incidents. Through this initiative, the 4Ps continues to empower children and youth with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and become responsible digital citizens.
