ILOILO CITY- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI Regional Director Joselito G. Estember virtually joined the “RD’s Hour” session to formally close the three-day short course on the Enhanced Social Welfare Development Indicator (SWDI) Tool for City and Municipal Links which was conducted simultaneously in separate areas in four provinces across the region from Monday until today.

Director Estember took the virtual stage to discuss his specialized topic,”Case Management 4Ps: Hearing the Unhearable from the Sensing Journey to Kilos Unlad and Intensive conduct of SWDI’.” Through this session, he shared valuable perspectives on what it truly means to be an effective case manager emphasizing the deep empathy needed to understand the unspoken needs of beneficiaries.

The director also commended the participants for their commitment and active engagement throughout the intensive training. As part of the closing activity, they received supplemental Family Development Session (FDS) kits to support them in carrying out their responsibilities and upcoming field activities.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the seamless collaboration of the ICTMS team and its partners, which ensured a stable internet connection across all participating sites./lrc
