4Ps boosts staff capabilities ahead of major 2026 beneficiary transition
ILOILO CITY– The DSWD6 thru the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is holding a four-day capacity building workshop on November 25-28 here that aimed to strengthening the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation systems as it prepares for a major transition in 2026.
DSWD6 OIC Regional Director Joselito G. Estember warmly welcome the participants on the activity entitled Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity Building Workshop: Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation in 4Ps for Better Outcome for Alignment to Enhanced Theory of Change and Results Framework runs.
It brings together the selected National Program Management Office (NPMO) technical personnel, 4Ps Monitoring and Evaluation Unit staff, and Regional Monitoring and Evaluation staff. Preparing for the 2026 exit, the intensive training is being conducted in view of the anticipated 2026 transition, during which approximately 1.9 million household beneficiaries are expected to exit from the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program.
This activity is considered vital for ensuring the sustained success of the institutionalized 4Ps under Republic Act No. 11310. By strengthening M&E competencies, the program aims to shift towards a more adaptive and results-based implementation framework. The workshop is also timely, coinciding with the operationalization of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).
The output of the workshop is expected to solidify the 4Ps’ ability to manage, analyze, and utilize data effectively, ensuring that the progress achieved by graduating households is sustained and that future program policies are data-driven./lrc/mgc
