Bayawa family honored with national recognitionILOILO City – The Bayawa Family of Caluya, Antique was awarded a plaque of recognition by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program–National Program Management Office (4Ps-NPMO), during the National Family Congress held at Malacañang Palace.
The event was part of the weeklong National Filipino Family Month celebration.
Yesterday, DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian personally presented the family with the plaque and a cash incentive from the Office of the President.
The Bayawa family joined 17 other Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya awardees from various regions across the country. Also, they were accompanied by their Municipal Link Gladys Madarcos.
This annual celebration seeks to honor families whose dedication and selfless contributions help uplift not only their own lives but also the well-being of their communities./
